Determination, Strength, Humble, Skill and Patience are all words in which fuse to make one creation. This creation has a name Chubb-Z. Since a young kid, Chubb-Z raised in a music oriented family, mother a DJ and father a promoter. Born as Richard Dinkins in the streets of Boston, MA, Chubb-Z used music to balance the chaos which surrounded him in the rough city. Given the name Chubbz by his older brother Shawn, Richard decided to make that his official music name after his brother was murdered in violence. Chubb-Z, now solo, has gained comfort in his journey to become a major contributor to the religion of HIP HOP.

Back in march Boston MC, Chubb-Z released his third mixtape "the downfall Mixtape. And before listening i had only heard a couple songs i had previously heard were cool but it's kinda hard to judge an artist on just a couple songs. But after only a minute into the tape i had already had a pretty good idea of what i'd be listening to. And what's crazt is that fact that he hadn't even spit a verse. His into alone was so powerful that i already knew what the overall theme of the tape would be, INSPIRATION. On this tape Chubb doesn't have. Instead he spits about staying strong and believing that with hard work he can achieve his goals. Not saying that he doesn't know how to loose and have fun on the track but Chubb seems to have extra glow when he spits from the heart. on one of the tape's stand out tracks 'Downfall Intro', he spits a line that really stood out to me. "I aint gon say I'm Hot, I'ma just prove it." And after listening to this tape i can say that i truly believe he will. He already has a good ear for beats and pretty distinguishable voice but when he finds that producer that fits his sound to the T, he's going to be a problem. I'm glad I listened to this tape, I was introduced to a talented MC who has room to grow. And with a fourth mixtape on it's way I' can't wait to hear his progression.
